An American actress, singer- songwriter and a former child model. This lovely girl was born on December 3, 1985 in Allentown, Pennsylvania, USA. She began her career as a child model at the age of 11 and 15 as an actress, starting off with uncredited roles and moving on to recurring roles. Her mother was an occupational therapist, and her father is a pharmacist. She has a older sister who was a musician in the Philadelphia organ-driven rock band Love City.
At an early of age, she appeared in print ads for clothing companies including “Limited Too” with Leighton Meester. She just stopped modeling when she was seventeen years old. Aside from modeling, she also took voice lessons, studied opera, and trained with a Broadway coach while still a teen.
In 2003, Amanda Michelle Seyfried auditioned to played the role of Regina George in “Mean Girls; the role eventually wen to Rachel McAdams. While she was initially considered to play the lead role of Cady Heron, played by Lindsay Lohan, the producers of the film decided that Seyfried should play Karen Smith, Regina’s dim- witted “plastic” friend and sidekick. The film was a box- office success. Her performance on the film earned her a MTV Movie Awardin the category of “Best On-Screen Team” along with Lindsay Lohan and Rachel McAdams.
In 2005, she played the lead character in the film Nine Lives that was written by Rodrigo Garcia. The film was comprise by nine different themes and an ensemble cast. For her performance in the film, she along with her film’s other female leads won an award from Locarno International Film Festivalas a best actress. In that same year, she also starred in the independent film American Gun.
In 2006, she appeared in a TV series Wildfire in five episodes. For 2 years Amanda Seyfried made multiple guest appearance on multiple TV seriessuch as “House M.D.”, “Justice, Law, & Order: Special Victims Unit, American Dad!”, and CSI. Her profile gained prominence due to her role in the highly acclaimed HBO drama television series, “Big Love”. Following from this drama series, she had a supporting role in the movie Solstice and she co-starred Meryl Streep in “Mamma Mia!” which is a romantic comedy film adaptation in 1999 and this was her first leading role. The film was one of the fifth highest grossing film of 2008. Her musical performance in “Mamma Mia!” was released on the film’s soundtrack, for which she recorded five songs.
In March 2008, Seyfried was cast in the comedy horror film Jennifer’s Body and Boogie Woogie. She also starred alongside Channing Tatum in “Dear John”, the film adaptation of the novel of the same name written by Nicholas Sparks. By 2010, she appeared as a title character in the erotic thriller “Chloe” and starred in the romantic-comedy “Letters To Juliet” based on the book by Lise and Ceil Friedman. Her current project is the movie “Red Riding Hood”.

mostly dated her co-starred actors and their relationship didn’t work out well.
